Kate Miller

Kateri (Kate) Miller, Ph.D., is assistant professor of music education at Minot State University in North Dakota. She has over 20 years of experience teaching children and adults and is certified in Orff-Schulwerk, Kodály, and has training in Dalcroze Eurhythmics. She is past president of the Orff chapter in Las Vegas and is currently serving as a trustee on the national board of the American Orff-Schulwerk Association. She has presented original material at KMEA, NDMEA, Orff Chapters, and the National Orff Conference and has presented the GAMEPLAN curriculum in various school districts throughout the United States. In addition, she has presented research at NAfME, Mid-South Music Education Research Symposium, Mountain Lake Colloquium, and OAKE. Currently, Dr. Miller teaches music education majors both elementary and secondary choral methods as well as non music education majors at Minot State University. In addition, she also conducts the Western Plains Junior Choir and Music Makers, an elementary Orff instrumental group.

BethAnn Hepburn

BethAnn Hepburn, M.A. University of St. Thomas, St. Paul, MN. BethAnn is the professional development chair for general music for the Ohio Music Education Association and the north central representative to the NAfME General Music Council. She teaches general music and choir for Streetsboro City Schools in Ohio. She serves as the mentor for the Ohio Department of Education Fine Arts Cohort. She is a frequent presenter and teacher educator for AOSA, and elementary honors and Orff ensembles. BethAnn is co-author of Purposeful Pathways: Possibilities for the Elementary Music Classroom Books 1 -4. She is a Ph. D. candidate in Music Education at Kent State University.

David Row loves teaching music to kids! A Nebraska native and Midwesterner at heart, David now lives and teaches in the Kansas City metro area for the DeSoto Unified School District. He holds a Master’s Degree in Music Education from the University of Missouri – Kansas City Conservatory, completed three levels and a master course in Orff Schulwerk training, and has extensive experience with critical thinking in the arts. David is an active clinician and has presented workshops at national, state, and local conventions across the United States and Canada. He is an AOSA approved Orff Schulwerk teacher educator and teaches Level 1 Pedagogy at the OCPS & Central Florida Orff Chapter Summer Course in Orlando. Matthew Stensrud is an internationally-acclaimed and award-winning Elementary Music and Movement Teacher and currently teaches PK-4 music and movement at Sidwell Friends Lower School in Washington, DC. He received his Master of Music Education from George Mason University and Bachelor of Music Education from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, is an Orff Schulwerk approved Teacher Educator of Movement, and teaches Movement Levels in New Jersey and Oregon. Matthew is also on AOSA National Board of Trustees as a representative for region 5 and was a key content contributor to the book Responsive Classroom for Music, Art, PE and Other Special Areas. He is also well-known on social media as @MisterSOrff and offers newsletters through his website www.mistersorff.com and mentoring, lesson plans, and more on his Patreon page, www.patreon.com/mistersorff.

Kris Olsen

Kris has taught music and movement for 30 years in public, private, rural, and urban schools. She offers workshops across the country and has taught at various universities. Kris is a member of Flatlands Dance Theatre in Lubbock, TX where she teaches music and movement as a private contractor. Kris has her master’s degree in Orff Schulwerk from the University of St. Thomas.

Kate Bright

Kate Bright is a music teacher at Lincoln Charter School in York, PA, where she teaches approximately 700 kindergarten through fifth grade students. She is past-president of the Greater Baltimore Area Orff Chapter and the Philadelphia Area Orff Chapter, and has presented at the American Orff Schulwerk Association National Conference. In 2015, she received the Spotlight Award from the American Center for Elemental Music and Movement. She currently serves on the board of both ACEMM and the Harrisburg Area Contra Dance Association.

Tom Bordun

Thom Borden teaches PreK-5 in Las Vegas and Introduction to the Kodaly Method at Vandercook College in Chicago. Thom completed his B.A. in Music and an M.A. in Education with a concentration in Curriculum and Instruction focused in Reading. He completed Orff Levels at UNLV and an Orff Master Level at the University of Memphis under Jos Wuytack. Advanced studies include music and movement in Paris as well as Kodaly training and certification through CSU with Sr. Lorna Zemke. Thom is the past-president of the Greater Chicago Orff Chapter, founding member of the Las Vegas Kodaly Chapter, and has presented at numerous AOSA and OAKE conferences. He has presented in Australia, Canada, China, Europe and presents across the US each year. Thom served as the AOSA Diversity Committee Chair and is a founding member of the International Sharing Sunday USA group. He has published Orff arrangements in the McGraw-Hill curriculum series SPOTLIGHT ON MUSIC and MUSIC STUDIO and has published materials on using manipulatives in the classroom. His latest publications include a series of musical active and interactive singing games - FILE FOLDER FUN! for Music Classrooms - that assist in teaching concepts both live and virtually.
Paul Cribari

Dr. Cribari is a Colorado native who has been teaching children for 20 years. He has worked with children from Pre-School to High School and has conducted a variety of ensembles including Renaissance consorts, choirs, jazz bands, and symphony orchestras.Dr. Cribari received a Bachelors degree in Piano and Vocal education from the University of Northern Colorado, a Master of Arts with an emphasis in Orff Schulwerk from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota, and his doctorate in music education from Boston University.
In addition to teaching children at Coyote Hills, Dr. Cribari has taught graduate students at Southern Methodist University, Mills College, Central Michigan University, the University of St. Thomas, George Mason University, Anderson University, and the University of Central Arkansas. Dr. Cribari is on the board of trustees for Hidden Valley Music Seminars in Carmel Valley, California, and is a frequent clinician at music education conferences throughout the country.

Paul Weller

Paul Weller has been teaching elemental music for more than 18 years to grades K-5. He earned a B.A. from St. Olaf College, M.A. in Education from Saint Mary’s University and Orff Schulwerk Levels training at University of St. Thomas. He has taught workshops locally, nationally, has presented numerous times at the AOSA national convention, and is an Orff Level I and II teacher trainer. Paul Lives in Minnesota with his wife and two kids where he spends his free time cooking, reading, biking, and drinking tea.
Dr. Lori Conlon Kahn

Lori has been happily involved in music education for 37 years, including a position in K-12 instrumental and choral music; 32 years in Boise School’s General Music K-6; 10 years in pre-school music at Northview Montessori; as a professor in Lesley University’s Arts Integration
MEd program; Movement instructor in Orff Schulwerk teacher training courses; as a Visiting Music Education Professor at Boise State University; and now as Clinical Assistant Professor of Music Education at the University of Idaho. She isn't certain what she wants to do when she grows
up! Lori has held the office of Region I Representative for the AOSA National Board (2012 - 2015), Co-Chaired the AOSA 50th Anniversary celebration (2016-2018), and most recently Co-Chaired the inaugural IMEA/Idaho Orff Elementary Honor Orff Ensemble with her good friend, Shirley. She begins national service again with AOSA this July 1, serving on the Research to Practice Subcommittee through 2023. Lori has three children she is extremely proud of – Sidrah, Sharif, and Khadija. Sidrah and Sharif are both counselors in their New York and Los Angeles homes, and Khadija begins her Masters program in London this Fall. She and her husband, Ather, enjoy time together at their mountain cabin in Lowman. Lori did Level I training at NNU back in the 90’s, Levels II and III at UNLV in 2003 and 2005, and completed a Master Class under the tutelage of Jos Wuytuck at the University of Mephis in 2007.
