"Tell me, I forget, show me, I remember,
involve me, I understand." - Carl Off
What is the American Orff-Schulwerk Association (AOSA)?
The America Orff-Schulwerk Association is a national non-profit professional organization of music and movement educators dedicated to the creative teaching approach developed by Carl Orff and Gunlid Keetman. We are joined by our belief that learning about music - learning to sing and play, to hear and understand, to move and create - should be an active and joyful experience.

Special Notes:
The American Orff-Schulwerk association strongly encourages members to be positive and discreet when discussing our organization, specific courses and/or teachers, and the Orff movement. The very nature of the Orff Schulwerk philosophy embodies a broad spectrum of expressions exploring different paths to arrive at artistic and educational goals. Members are encouraged to recognize and remain open to varied approaches and to celebrate both our differences and our similarities.
