"Orff Schulwerk for Success"
Experience the application of Orff process from simple beat keeping while singing to multiple drum lines which accompany singing or melodic material for mallets. Orff Schulwerk builds the musical framework and weaves the strong fabric which supports the complete musician. From speech to body percussion to untuned percussion to mallets, all pathways lead to the musical child who learns through active participation and grows toward understanding and musical independence.
Please note: The activities in this workshop will focus on lessons for grades 3 -7 and include singing, moving, barred instruments, untuned percussion and recorder. Participants should bring all available voices of recorders.
